HARDENED LEATHER SHOVEL KNEE GREEVES

For those looking for good leg protection for that early period kit, these will fit in nicely. Made from 12-15 ounce leather and hardened in my carnauba wax mix they will not soften in sunlight. They are also molded and shaped to give your calf a fairly nice fit. They don't come around quite enough to stay on themselves so some strapping is required. For SCA combat a pair of free floating knee cop come with. The set pictured is my working prototypes. Yep, I battle test all my armor BEFORE I offer it for sale. They work great! And very light, just about 2 pounds each. Perfect for light fighters and archers as well as heavy fighters.

They are also easilly tooled to accent your harness.

Cost $110.00/pair

ARTICULATED METAL KNEEED LEATHER LEGS

Made by All Saints Armoury these knees articulate so well you could almost play with them like slinkies! Considered by Thomas to be his munitions grade leg, these match up as well against any leg armor I have seen both for style, workmanship, and durability. The cop is made from 14 gauge mild steel and work hardened, with 16 gauge lames and demi plates. They come standard with a demi cuisse and demi greave, but I can easily fit them with a full hardened leather cuisse and greave. Or just extend them. See the listing for legs in Torvaldr's Gallery.

Standard price is $200.00
